Women, advocacy and access to land

We prioritizes women’s rights as our national and federation wide niche including work on sexual and gender based violence, sexual autonomy and bodily integrity while tackling the nexus between sexuality, development and equality, in developing an alternative, inclusive society. Using this intersectional framework, ActionAid Liberia  continue to support marginalized groups including LGBT, women in prostitution and partners with feminist and marginalized groups to advance  increased awareness, protection and access for LBT and marginalized groups within primarily feminist analysis, HRBA framing and accountability mechanisms.  We work towards strengthening protection mechanisms at community level and strengthening national legal frameworks for increased prevention.
