AAL is commencing the implementation in collaboration with ActionAid Nigeria and ActionAid Senegal is a 3-year project titled: Strategic Partnership for Agroecology and Climate Justice in West Africa (SPAC -West Africa). Ultimately the project seeks to ensure that women and young people enjoy food and nutrition security and climate resilient livelihoods. At the intermediate level, the project seeks to
ensure that (i) efficient agroecology practices among smallholder women farmers (SHWF) and young people, (ii) increased quantity and quality of public financing for agroecology, and diversified livelihoods from sustainable agricultural practices. The project is being implemented in three counties Bong, Gbarpolu, and Montserrado, and partners with key stakeholders in Liberia.
