ActionAid International Secretary General & Liberia's Team Hold Strategic Meeting to Strengthen Collaboration

Monrovia, Liberia – June 17, 2026 – The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Liberia on Tuesday held a strategic meeting with the Secretary General of ActionAid International, Mr. Arthur Larok, and his delegation at the EPA headquarters in Monrovia.

The meeting was led by EPA Deputy Executive Director for Administration, Anthony S. Kollie, and Deputy Executive Director for Technical Services, Dweh S. Boley, along with senior members of the Agency.

Discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between the EPA and ActionAid International in areas of mutual interest, including climate action, environmental sustainability, community resilience, and sustainable development.

Both parties exchanged views on opportunities for future partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to working together to address environmental challenges and support vulnerable communities across Liberia.

The meeting forms part of ActionAid International Secretary General Arthur Larok’s visit to Liberia aimed at engaging stakeholders and fostering stronger partnerships for sustainable development.

At the meeting, Liberia's Environmental Protection Agency reaffirmed its commitment to continue partnership with ActionAid Liberia's work around combating climate change, mobilizing resources together and working together to increase public awareness and knowledge about climate change and environmental issues.

It is all geared towards protecting the lives and existence of Liberians amidst the growing climate change effects globally that continue to make developing nations more vulnerable to the crisis.

The reaffirmation was made during our International Secretary General- Arthur Larok courtesy visit when he met executives of the Environmental Protection Agency - EPA on Tuesday, June 16 in Monrovia.
