About Author

Lakshmi Moore currently serves as the Interim Country Director for ActionAid Liberia. In addition, Ms. Moore also chairs the International Platform for ActionAid’s Federation work on Public Services and Civic Participation, including ActionAid’s global strategy commitments to ensuring quality gender responsive public services such as education, health and youth employment. ActionAid Liberia (AAL) is a non-governmental organization operating in Liberia since 1997. AAL is one of the leading organizations in Liberia on women’s rights and gender equality with government and community recognition. AAL is also a member of ActionAid International, a global social justice federation working in 45 countries to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication.
